Bold Form

$2,800.00

Oil on Canvas, 20”x16” unframed

Bold Form is a representational abstract painting using bold imagery of the equine form, simplified so as to not focus on any one detail but distilling the equine body down to an essential element. You cannot escape or ignore the form but you also must note the contrast of the soft yet painterly atmosphere around the fractional body. The contrast of these two elements, bold and dark form against a soft, painterly and airy negative space creates tension in the piece but allows for the viewer to interpret the piece more as a whole. These contrasting elements highlight an unpretentious equine form with barely recognizable features. Elimination of detail and anatomical accuracy in this piece helps to promote the feel and essence of the idea of the horse through simplified means.

Make it stand out

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business.

Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.

“The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now.”
